Stephen Mathyas is a junior at Burr and Burton Academy. He is involved in the band, the mountain biking team, and various academic programs. He is part of the after school band club known as "Circuits," under the direction of Neil Freebern. During warmer months he enjoys biking and hiking, or anything that involves being outside. The past summer, he had a personal goal to document the countless trails around Dorset, where he lives. During the winter, he enjoys skiing and hiking. He is thinking about joining the Burr and Burton nordic team. Stephen is happiest when he is outdoors. He works at the Dorset Field Club, and volunteers for odd jobs around Dorset. Stephen lives in Dorset with his parents and dog, Jack. He enjoys all of his classes at Burr and Burton, and is excited at the prospect of working with Mr. Muench in the cinematography class.
